David C. Cassidy reads from “Farm Hall”
It’s 1945. As atomic bombs are on their way to Japan, five top German nuclear scientists, along with their British handler, are held at an English country manor, Farm Hall. While secret microphones record their conversations, they are unaware of why or for how long they are there. How will these famous scientists react to the news of the atomic bombs? How will they explain to themselves and to the world their failure to achieve even a chain reaction? How will they attempt to explain their behavior during the Third Reich and their wartime work for such a regime?
